Goodbye to Jaspar
Jaspar’s Poem
I saw a little angel,
A sitting on my bed,
I asked him what his name was,
Why Jaspar ***, he said.
His eyes were full of joy,
And his heart was beating fast,
He wanted to send a message,
To his family and friends in class.
I love you all my darlings,
Don’t worry anymore.
I am not far and will not ever,
Be too far from your door.
If you ever need me,
You only have to ask,
I love you all so dearly,
I have not really passed.
My Soul shines bright and joyful,
My heart beats big and strong,
I am watching you so closely,
You will find me in the throng.
To all my friends and family,
Let your tears no longer fall,
We can do this all together,
Forever one and all.
I had to leave so I could watch,
And love you from my place,
I needed time to give myself,
A little bit of space.
Mum I am with you always,
You live right in my heart,
It is ever beating strongly,
We will never be apart.
